Bayern Munich has announced that Serge Gnabry has signed a new contract with the club, keeping him with the German champions until 2028.
Gnabry has been a key player for Bayern since joining in 2017, and he has been in excellent form this season, scoring six goals and providing five assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances.
Speaking after signing his new contract, Gnabry said: “I’m happy to be able to play for FC Bayern for several more years, the talks were consistently positive, and I never would have thought when I started at Bayern that I would be here for over ten years by the end of this contract.”
Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, praised Gnabry’s contribution to the team, saying: “Serge Gnabry has grown with FC Bayern and is one of the absolute pillars of this team – both on the pitch and in the dressing room, he is incredibly important.”
The winger has won six Bundesliga titles, two DFB Cups, and the Champions League during his time at Bayern, and he is eager to add more trophies to his collection. “My goals are for things to continue like this: we are a real unit and can achieve great things,” he said.
