Ruben Amorim has been handed a big boost ahead of the Europa League clash with Kobbie Mainoo back in training.
The Manchester United midfielder was spotted in training on Wednesday, and Amorim has confirmed he will be in the squad to face Lyon.
Mainoo, who has been injured for recent weeks and missed a good number of games for Manchester United, will join his teammates on the trip to France.
With the Premier League top four looking very unlikely for Manchester United, the Europa League stands as their best opportunity to return to Europe next year.
Mainoo’s inclusion means Amorim has more men in the midfield he can count as he continues his quest to guide United to another trophy and possibly, Champions League football.
