Tottenham face title chasers Manchester City in a game that would have ripple effects on the title race.
After beating Manchester City 2-0 at the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Tottenham haven’t shown the grace and flair many expected from them. Thomas Frank has failed to deliver the results that many expected, and Tottenham find themselves uncomfortably in the bottom half of the table.
Sitting in 14th place with just 1 win in their last six Premier League games, Tottenham fans are increasingly frustrated at the team and at the fact that Thomas Frank still has a job. While they have found respite in the UEFA Champions League, securing automatic qualification into the last 16, Thomas Frank needs to turn things around against a Manchester City side who want to be on the heels of league leaders Arsenal
Manchester City have just found their form, and to keep pressure on Arsenal, they must win on Sunday. Before beating Wolves, City had gone without a win for three straight games. However, City are now on course for a three-game winning streak should they beat Tottenham.

Team News
Thomas Frank would be glad to count on Micky Van de Ven if he’s fit for the City game. Frank will also be without Pedro Porro, who joins his long injury list.
For Guardiola, getting his defence in shape will be his biggest route to victory as Stones, Gvardiol, and Dias are all injured. Guehi has shown his class, helping Manchester City to a clean sheet on his debut against Wolves, and Guardiola will be hoping he can count on his services against Tottenham.
The win against Galatasaray came at a cost as Doku sustained a calf injury.
