Atalanta are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Ademola Lookman, with Fenerbahce making a new bid worth €40m.

Fenerbahce’s director of sport Devin Ozek is said to be in Italy for negotiations, and Fenerbahce has proposed a contract worth €9m per season for Lookman. Atalanta have signed Giacomo Raspadori from Atletico Madrid, making Lookman’s position at the club a big concern.

The proposed deal for Lookman includes a six-month loan with an obligation to buy, totaling €40m (€5m loan fee + €35m purchase option).

Lookman had pushed for a move to Inter last summer but was rebuffed by Atalanta’s high asking price. He has since been linked with several clubs, including Napoli, Galatasaray, and Atletico Madrid.

Atalanta is open to selling Lookman, but only for a substantial offer. The club values him at around €45m, but Fenerbahce’s €40m bid may be enough to secure his departure.

Lookman recently helped Nigeria secure third place at the Africa Cup of Nations and started for Atalanta in their Champions League defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise.
