As Tottenham closes in on a top-eight finish, Thomas Frank has so much to worry about besides his future at the club.

With Van de Ven expected to be out due to a slight injury, Tottenham will be without fourteen first-team players when they take on Frankfurt later today. 

Their opponents, Frankfurt, will be eliminated from the UEFA Champions League given their position on the league table. Tottenham will have to overcome their lacklustre performance against Burnley in order to secure an automatic finish in the top eight.

Van de Ven is expected to miss the Frankfurt game as the club takes precautionary measures over his slight knock vs Burnley. Romero has been cleared to play, while Porro is also a doubt following his injury against Burnley.

The remaining first-team players Tottenham will be without include:

Dragusin, Bissouma, Tel, and new signings Souza and Gallagher, who haven’t been registered by the club in the UCL. Apart from Porro and Van de Ven, who just joined the list, Tottenham will be missing Bentancur, Richarlison, Ben Davies, Bergvall, Maddison, Kudus, and Kulusevski.
