This is a million-dollar question. Does PSG have what it takes to get to the final of the UEFA Champions League? The answer is not so simple.

PSG have been in terrific form this season, claiming one domestic cup and bagging a 13th league title with six games to go. They are also on course to achieve a historic feat if they can go unbeaten in the league. They will be the first team to ever do it.

With their 3-1 victory over Aston Villa in the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals, the French champions have one foot in the semis, and it begs the question: can they go all the way?

I think they can, but it won’t be easy.

PSG went past Liverpool in incredible fashion in the Round of 16, winning on penalties, and now they have blown another English side, Aston Villa, away in the first leg of the quarter-finals.

They won’t feel the need to hold back when they enter the second leg. Based on their recent performances, Paris Saint-Germain is the type of team that will beat you again and again if they have to. Many times this season, they have had to come from behind to win in fine fashion, and they did it again yesterday.

With the quarter finals already in the bag, the focus is now on the way forward.

To get to the final, PSG will have to go through either PSG or Real Madrid before setting up a final with either Barcelona or Inter Milan, who currently have one foot in the semis as well.

The game against Arsenal will not be easy. The English side has stopped Madrid quite unbelievably, and for PSG, this is just a sign of things to come. They will have to dig deep if they are to go past the Gunners.

PSG have shown how bad they want this UCL title, and currently, they look like they can win it all. With Enrique’s guidance and their ever energetic display, they may just go all the way.
