Tottenham fans are increasingly fed up with Thomas Frank, and going by our previous reports, his managerial role at the club is still under scrutiny.
Before the game against Dortmund, we reported that the club were considering sacking him regardless of the result. However, after seeing out a 2-0 win and almost guaranteeing a place in the last 16 depending on their results in the last league game of the UCL, Tottenham seems to have given the Danish manager more time.
But that time seems to have worn out as the 2-2 draw against Burnley today has riled supporters and supposedly, some board members. Tottenham are seeing their chances of qualifying for Europe fade each Premier League gameweek, and fans were making “sack chants” towards the manager as he applauded the supporters after the game.
Rumors have it that the Tottenham board has made up their mind, and the fans can’t wait to hear what it is. Nothing new seems to come from the Lily Whites, and Frank’s sack seems imminent. It could in the morning or later tomorrow, but it does seem like it is just a matter of time.
