Chelsea is taking precautions to prevent the spread of an illness that’s sidelined Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, and some staff members.

Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior revealed that Delap and Gittens are still recovering, while some staff members have also been affected. The coach is hoping to avoid further disruptions, given Chelsea’s busy schedule. “We have a busy period, so we need everyone ready to go and fit and healthy,” he said.

Chelsea will host Brentford on Saturday, looking to bounce back from their recent struggles. The team has only won one game in nine Premier League matches, making a strong performance crucial. Reece James and Cole Palmer, who missed recent games due to injuries, are training and could return to the squad.

Rosenior is assessing all positions, including goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, who made costly errors against Arsenal. The coach emphasized competition in every position, saying, “You have to earn your spot in this team.”

The illness outbreak adds to Chelsea’s challenges, but Rosenior is staying positive. The team is taking necessary precautions, and the coach is confident in their ability to overcome the hurdles.
