Tottenham Hotspur forward Mohammed Kudus will be out until April due to a thigh injury suffered during Sunday’s draw with Sunderland.

Kudus has made 19 Premier League appearances for Tottenham this season, scoring twice and providing five assists.

Kudus went down off the ball during the match, and manager Thomas Frank confirmed the injury will keep him out until after the March international break, scheduled from March 23rd to 31st. “We expect him back after the March international break,” Frank told reporters on Thursday. This is a significant blow for Spurs, who currently sit 14th in the table.

Frank also provided updates on other injured players, including Lucas Bergvall, who is being assessed, and Rodrigo Bentancur, who has a hamstring injury with an uncertain timeframe.

Tottenham will host Aston Villa in the FA Cup third round, and Frank’s team will need to adapt to the absence of key players.
