Galatasaray are pushing to sign Inter and Italy midfielder Davide Frattesi, with reports suggesting the Turkish champions are willing to invest up to €35 million this January.
Galatasaray are reportedly making a serious push to sign Italy international Davide Frattesi from Inter during the current transfer window, with the Turkish giants prepared to spend up to €35 million on the midfielder.
According to multiple reports on Sunday, Galatasaray have identified Frattesi as a priority target as they look to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
The 26-year-old has struggled for regular playing time at Inter this campaign following his move from Sassuolo in 2023, finding himself on the fringes of Cristian Chivu’s plans.
Frattesi has made just nine Serie A appearances so far this season, with only one of those coming as a starter, accumulating a total of just 205 league minutes.
Interest in the Italy international has been building since the opening of the January transfer window, with Juventus and Fenerbahce among the clubs previously linked with a potential move.
However, reports now suggest Galatasaray are ready to formalise their interest, with reports claiming discussions have taken place over a loan deal that would include an obligation to buy for a fee in the region of €35 million.
Inter are said to prefer a permanent sale rather than a loan arrangement with conditions attached, leaving negotiations ongoing as Galatasaray consider how best to structure a deal for the out-of-favour midfielder.
