Napoli Slams Allegri for Insulting Conte’s Assistant Oriali

Napoli condemns Massimiliano Allegri’s insult towards Gabriele Oriali during the Supercoppa semifinal, releases official statement.

Napoli has issued a strong statement condemning Massimiliano Allegri’s behavior towards Gabriele Oriali, Antonio Conte’s assistant, during the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal against Milan.

Allegri allegedly insulted Oriali, calling him a derogatory term, sparking tension between the teams.

The incident occurred in the final minutes of the match, which Napoli won 2-0. Players clashed, and coaches refused to shake hands, adding to the heated atmosphere.

Napoli’s statement read: “Napoli strongly condemns the conduct of Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri who, during the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal, repeatedly and seriously insulted Gabriele Oriali using offensive language.”

The Partenopei expressed disappointment and frustration, highlighting the incident’s gravity, given its live broadcast and the presence of dozens on the sidelines. “We hope this completely uncontrolled outburst won’t go unnoticed,” Napoli added.

Allegri’s behavior has sparked outrage, with many questioning his professionalism. The incident overshadows Napoli’s Supercoppa semifinal win, as they prepare to face Bologna-Inter’s winner in the final on December 22.
