Napoli coach Antonio Conte emphasizes the team’s desire to win the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final against Milan.

Napoli is gearing up to face Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final, and Antonio Conte is determined to lead his team to a deserved victory.

The Partenopei are looking to bounce back from recent defeats, including a 1-0 loss to Udinese and a 2-0 defeat to Benfica in the Champions League.

Conte has confirmed that Stanislav Lobotka is available for selection after recovering from a minor issue, and he’s been joined in training by Romelu Lukaku, who’s been out for 125 days due to an injury. However, Conte is cautious about rushing Lukaku back into action, emphasizing the need for patience.

“We have to have patience and wait for the right moment,” Conte said, highlighting Lukaku’s importance to the team. With midfielders Kevin De Bruyne, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, and Billy Gilmour also sidelined, Napoli is short on options in the middle of the park.

Lobotka, on the other hand, is ready to play after a brief return off the bench against Udinese. “Lobo played for half an hour in Udinese, and the problem he had wasn’t too serious,” Conte explained.

Conte is focused on managing his team’s workload and analyzing their performance, especially with games coming thick and fast. “We have to manage victory and defeat in a similar way,” he said.

The Napoli coach is also aware of the challenge Milan poses, citing their great tradition, players, and coaches. “Everyone has that desire to test themselves in these sorts of matches and see what level we’re at,” he said.

Napoli fans are excited to see their team in action, and Conte is happy to have them along for the ride. “Seeing Napoli fans here is great,” he said.
