Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank is frowning after his team’s dismal 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest.

The defeat has left Frank frustrated and disappointed, with his side’s performance described as “burning, annoying” and “a bad performance.”

Frank’s irritation was palpable as he struggled to explain his team’s return to old habits. “It was hugely disappointing. It’s burning, annoying. That was a bad performance. Especially first half, overall we looked disjointed. We didn’t win enough duels,” Frank said.

Callum Hudson-Odoi scored twice for Nottingham Forest, capitalizing on mistakes by Tottenham’s Archie Gray and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. Ibrahim Sangare completed the rout with a stunning goal from distance.

Vicario’s pass to Gray was intercepted by Sangare, leading to Hudson-Odoi’s opening goal. Vicario was also caught out by Hudson-Odoi’s cross, which sailed over his head and in for the second goal.

Frank accepted responsibility for his team’s performance, emphasizing the need for consistency. “It seems like we gave the ball away every time we won it back. We need to work to be more consistent. It’s two steps forward and a step back today,” he said.

Tottenham will look to bounce back from this defeat when they host Liverpool on Saturday.
