Arsenal hope to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Wolves at the Emirates this weekend. 

Arsenal lost for the second time in the Premier League this season after a last-minute shot from Emil Buendia condemned them to a 2-1 defeat.

The Gunners bounced back from that shock defeat, beating Club Brugge 3-0 in the UCL. Madueke was the star on the night and he is expected to retain the starting position this weekend.

Wolves, on the other hand, have been worst Premier League side by a mile with just 2 points from 15 games. Their last outing ended in a 4-1 thumping from Manchester United and Arsenal will be hoping they can take advantage of this to maintain their lead on the Premier League table which has been reduced to 2 points.

Riccardo Calafiori is expected to miss the Wolves game due to accumulated yellow card suspension and he will be part of six expected absentees for the Gunners alongside Max Dowman (ankle), Cristhian Mosquera (ankle), Leandro Trossard (knock), Gabriel Magalhaes (thigh) and Kai Havertz (knee).

Declan Rice (illness), William Saliba (knock) and Jurrien Timber (knock) will need close assessment to see if they can play against Wolves.

There’s good news for the Gunners as Gabriel Jesus has returned from a long spell on the sidelines.

For Wolves, Rob Edwards is sweating over the bright Bellegarde – who came off with an unspecified injury in the Man Utd loss – while Rodrigo Gomes (groin), Marshall Munetsi (calf), Leon Chiwone (knee) and Daniel Bentley (ankle) are definitely missing.
