AC Milan mounted an incredible comeback against Torino, overcoming a 2-0 deficit to secure a 3-2 win and reclaim the top spot in Serie A.
AC Milan survived a shocking defeat in the Serie A last night. Milan’s nightmare began early, with Fikayo Tomori’s handball conceding a penalty, which Nikola Vlašić converted in the 10th minute. Torino doubled their lead seven minutes later through Duván Zapata.
Despite being shell-shocked, Milan pulled one back thanks to Adrien Rabiot’s stunning 24th-minute strike, which flew into the top corner.
The visitors started the second half with renewed purpose, and Christian Pulisic made an immediate impact after coming on as a substitute. He scored the equaliser in the 67th minute, finishing calmly from close range, and completed the comeback 10 minutes later with a powerful finish.
Pulisic’s heroics lifted Milan to the top of the Serie A table, with their unbeaten league run now standing at 13 matches. Torino, on the other hand, ended the weekend 16th, with their winless league run extending to six games.
With this win, Pulisic has now scored seven league goals in nine appearances and is tied for the Golden Boot lead in Serie A.
