Nottingham Forest will be without key players Ola Aina and Chris Wood as they prepare to face Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Aina was replaced by Alex Moreno who delivered a solid performance as Nottingham Forest got a 1-0 win over Manchester United to move up to 57 points. The win helped them keep the gap over 4th placed Chelsea.

Nottingham Forest have been hit with unfavorable news about Aina’s injury. According to manager Nuno Esporito Santo, there is no exact time for the defender’s return.

Chris Wood is also a doubt for the clash against Aston Villa. The New Zealand striker got injured during the international break as his country secured a spot at the 2026 world cup.

Forest are hopeful that their star striker returns just in time to see them qualify for Europe. His goals this season has been super helpful to their impressive campaign and his return would be a big boost for the team.

Forest will rely on Hudson Odoi, Elanga and Awoniyi upfront while Toffolo will slide into the defense as Alex Moreno is ineligible for the clash against Villa.
