Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank is set to face his former club Brentford this weekend, with Spurs aiming to end a winless run in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur welcomes Brentford to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend, with the hosts looking to break their winless streak in the Premier League.

Thomas Frank, who previously led Brentford from 2018 to 2025, is set to face his former club, and he’s excited about the reunion.

Frank, who took Brentford to promotion from the Championship in 2021, left the club in June to replace Ange Postecoglou at Spurs. He’s had a mixed start to his tenure, with Spurs currently 11th in the table and without a win in their last five league games.

“Of course, it’s a little more special for me because I face Brentford, where I was for nine years,” Frank said. “Almost a quarter of my life there. I had a fantastic time there, and I enjoyed every second of it.”

Despite his affection for Brentford, Frank is focused on getting a win for Spurs. “In the 90 minutes, it’s all about one thing: do what we can to win the game,” he said.

Brentford, meanwhile, are having difficulties on the road, losing six of their seven away games. However, they’re currently level on points with Spurs, which makes this match even more crucial.

Frank has praised Brentford’s new manager Keith Andrews, saying he’s done a “remarkable job” in replacing him. With both teams needing a win, this match promises to be an exciting one.
