Tottenham manager Thomas Frank and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario shared their thoughts after Sunday’s 4-1 loss to Arsenal.

Frank described the afternoon as “very difficult” and admitted that Tottenham had a bad performance. “It’s extremely painful to stand here after that game,” he said. “We can only apologise to the fans for not performing better.”

Frank took full responsibility for the team’s performance, citing a lack of aggression and failure to win duels. He acknowledged that changes were made at half-time, but it was too late to change the outcome.

Vicario echoed Frank’s sentiments, saying it’s a “very bad night for us” and apologizing to the fans for not fighting hard enough. “They expected us to fight, and today we didn’t fight,” he said.

Vicario also admitted that the team was too passive and waited too long to get into the game. “The game plan we prepared was different. Today we didn’t fight,” he said.

Despite the defeat, Vicario emphasized the importance of sticking together and moving forward, especially with a big match against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
