Tottenham Hotspur face a challenging set of fixtures after the November international break, including a Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham Hotspur’s struggles may continue as they prepare for a tough run of games after the international break. The north London club has gone through a rough patch, failing to win in six home games in the Premier League, and the pressure is mounting on manager Thomas Frank.
Spurs’ next game is against arch-rivals Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, followed by a Champions League away clash against Paris Saint-Germain, and then a home game against Fulham.
Ahead of the PSG game, Tottenham have an injury boost. The French giants are sweating on the fitness of Ousmane Dembele and Nuno Mendes, both of whom are major doubts for the Champions League clash against Spurs. Dembele picked up a calf injury, while Mendes sprained his knee, and both are unlikely to play against Tottenham.
Spurs, on the other hand, are also dealing with their own injury issues. Pape Sarr appeared to have picked up a knock during Senegal’s loss to Brazil. However, Sarr should be fine to play in the north London derby.
Lucas Bergvall and Mohammed Kudus are expected to recover in time for Sunday’s game, but Randal Kolo Muani, Archie Gray, and Ben Davies could still be out for a while.
