Tottenham boss Thomas Frank provides positive injury updates on Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani ahead of the game against Aston Villa.

Tottenham Hotspur is set to return to Premier League action this weekend, hosting Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Manager Thomas Frank is optimistic about having a fully fit squad, with several players nearing their return from injury.

Randal Kolo Muani, who joined Spurs on deadline day, is edging closer to full fitness after featuring for 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Watford. Frank described Kolo Muani’s progress as “positive,” with the French forward having trained with the team for two weeks.

Kota Takai and Radu Dragusin are also nearing full fitness, offering Frank more options in defence. Dragusin, who has been out since February with an ACL injury, has resumed training and is expected to return soon.

Dominic Solanke, who underwent minor ankle surgery, is progressing well, but Frank hasn’t provided a specific return date.

On the other hand, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski remain sidelined, with Maddison expected to return in 2026. Yves Bissouma has suffered a setback, hurting himself again during Mali’s international match, and will be out for several weeks.
