Juventus is set to appoint Damien Comolli as their new CEO, replacing Maurizio Scanavino, effective November 7, 2025

Juventus is on the cusp of a major leadership change, with Damien Comolli set to take the reins as the club’s new CEO, replacing Maurizio Scanavino, who’s stepping down on November 7, 2025.

Comolli, who joined Juventus earlier this year, has been instrumental in shaping the club’s transfer strategy and is expected to bring stability and success to the team.

Comolli’s appointment comes after Scanavino’s tenure, which began in January 2023, following the resignation of the previous board of directors amid financial irregularities.

Scanavino’s departure marks a new chapter for Juventus, with Comolli poised to lead the club towards renewed success.

As CEO, Comolli will have the final say on all deals, although he won’t be directly handling transfer market negotiations. This change is part of Juventus’ ongoing efforts to revitalize and transform its board of directors, aiming to achieve stability and winning ways.

The process started with Exor, the holding company, nominating candidates for the Juventus board of directors. Notably, Giorgio Chiellini, a club legend, was absent from the nominees, despite his potential value to the team.

Comolli’s experience and expertise will be crucial in shaping Juventus’ future, having previously held key positions at clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool. His appointment signals Juventus’ intent to modernize and return to consistent success.

With Comolli at the helm, Juventus aims to regain its competitive edge and achieve sustainability, both financially and sporting-wise.
