Leandro Trossard sets the record straight on his future at Arsenal, denying reports of a potential exit and expressing his happiness at the club.

Leandro Trossard has put an end to speculation surrounding his future at Arsenal, stating that he feels “very good” at the club and has never considered leaving.

The Belgian winger’s comments come after a summer of transfer rumors, with Arsenal reportedly exploring options to sign a specialist left winger.

Trossard’s playing time has been limited at times this season, sparking concerns about his role in the team. However, he believes that the rumors surrounding his potential exit stemmed from his injury struggles and lack of minutes on the pitch. “At the start of the season, I struggled a bit with an injury,” he explained. “I think the rumors came from the lack of minutes.”

Despite the speculation, Trossard has remained focused on his game and has done his job to the best of his ability. He has played a key role in Arsenal’s strong start to the season, contributing two goals and two assists in eight appearances.

The 30-year-old’s contract situation has been the subject of much speculation, with his deal set to expire in June 2027. Although he signed a new contract with improved wages, the deal was not extended beyond its current term. This has led to suggestions that Trossard could be sold at the end of the season.

Trossard’s importance to the team cannot be overstated. He has showcased his versatility and skill on the left wing, and his partnership with Gabriel Martinelli has been a key factor in Arsenal’s attacking success.

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how Trossard’s role develops. With his contract situation potentially looming large, the Belgian winger will be keen to continue impressing for Arsenal and stake his claim in the starting lineup.

For now, Trossard seems content with his situation at Arsenal, and he will be looking to help the team maintain its strong form and push for the Premier League title.
