Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie is expected to return from a groin injury in October.

Piero Hincapie, the Ecuadorian defender who joined Arsenal from Bayer Leverkusen on loan this summer, is dealing with a groin injury that has kept him sidelined since his debut against Athletic Club last month.

According to reports  Hincapie is targeting an October return if all goes to plan. This means he might be available for Arsenal’s match against Fulham on October 18 and their Champions League game against Atletico Madrid three days later.

Hincapie’s absence has been a blow to Arsenal’s defensive options, but manager Mikel Arteta has been impressed with the team’s squad depth.

Despite injuries to several key players, including Noni Madueke, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz, Arsenal has maintained a solid start to the season, with only two points separating them from Premier League leaders Liverpool after six games.

The rest during the international break should help Hincapie recuperate quickly, and he might be able to return to the team after the break.

Arsenal’s injury woes have been a concern, but the team’s performances have shown that they can overcome these setbacks. With Hincapie’s expected return in October, the team’s defensive options should improve, and they should be able to make a strong push for the Premier League title.

The Gunners will hope that Hincapie’s return will coincide with the return of other injured players, including Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, who are both expected to be out for several months.

With a strong squad and a solid start to the season, Arsenal fans will be optimistic about the team’s chances of winning the Premier League title this season.
