Lothar Matthäus advises Harry Kane to finish his career at Bayern Munich, citing the striker’s success and profile growth in Germany.

Lothar Matthäus, a German and Bayern Munich legend, believes Harry Kane would be wise to finish his career at the German giants. Kane, who joined Bayern Munich a few years ago from Tottenham, has enjoyed significant success, scoring crucial goals and providing assists.

Despite his success, Kane has been consistently linked with a potential return to England.

Matthäus dismisses speculation about Kane’s possible return to the Premier League to break Alan Shearer’s goal record. Instead, he recommends that Kane stays at Bayern Munich, where he has never been better and has further raised his profile. Matthäus doesn’t think the Shearer record is Kane’s primary motivation, given his achievements in the Premier League.

According to Matthäus, Kane has already proven himself in the Premier League and should focus on finishing his career at Bayern Munich. This approach would allow him to maintain his top-level performance and potentially add more trophies to his collection. Matthäus also suggests that if Kane wants to earn more money later in his career, he could consider moving to Saudi Arabia.

Matthäus believes Kane still has several top-level years ahead of him, citing examples like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who have performed exceptionally well at an advanced age. Kane, at 32, has not yet reached the age where these legends began to slow down.

Kane’s current form supports Matthäus’ argument, with the striker scoring 13 goals in just seven matches this season, including a hat-trick against Hoffenheim. His versatility and ability to support his teammates have drawn praise from Matthäus.

Matthäus’ advice comes as Kane has expressed concerns about Bayern Munich’s squad depth. However, Matthäus disagrees, highlighting new signings like Luis Díaz, Jonathan Tah, and Tom Bischof, who strengthen the team.

Ultimately, Matthäus’ recommendation for Kane to finish his career at Bayern Munich is based on the striker’s success and growth at the club. With the right mindset and continued performance, Kane can achieve even more with Bayern Munich.
