Former Premier League goalkeeper Tim Howard and pundit Gary Neville praise Noni Madueke’s performance for Arsenal, saying Chelsea got it wrong by letting him go.

Noni Madueke’s transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal has been deemed a success by pundits, with the winger impressing in his new role at the Gunners. Despite initial skepticism from Arsenal fans, Madueke has proven himself to be a valuable addition to the team, providing energy and drive on the right-hand side.

Former Premier League goalkeeper Tim Howard believes Chelsea made a mistake by letting Madueke go, saying, “It’s a miss, Chelsea have missed that one… Never should have been let go by Chelsea. They got that one wrong, they have to admit that.” Howard praised Madueke’s special talent and noted that Arsenal has done good business in signing him.

Gary Neville, former Manchester United defender, also sang Madueke’s praises, saying, “Madueke’s a lot better than I imagined and thought he would be… A couple of the runs he made for England on Tuesday night were a different level.” Neville compares Madueke’s movements to those of Arjen Robben, a former winger known for his speed and skill.

Madueke’s impact on Arsenal’s game has been significant, despite not yet officially getting a goal or assist. He played a key role in Arsenal’s opening goal on Saturday, winning a corner with an impressive move and providing the delivery that led to Martin Zubimendi’s header. His runs and energy have given Arsenal a boost, and pundits believe the goals and assists will come with time.

The contrast between Madueke’s performance and Chelsea’s replacement, Jamie Gittens, is stark. While Gittens has struggled in his early appearances, Madueke has been impressive, providing a much-needed spark on the right-hand side. It certainly looks like Arsenal got the better end of the deal so far.

Arsenal’s ability to adapt to injuries has also been impressive, with the team’s depth and squad quality allowing them to overcome the absence of key players like Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard. Madueke’s performance has been a key factor in this, and pundits believe he will continue to shine in the weeks to come.

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how Madueke continues to develop and contribute to Arsenal’s success. With his talent and energy, he could prove to be a valuable asset for the Gunners.
