Manuel Akanji is expected to start for Inter Milan in their Serie A match against Juventus, marking his debut for the Nerazzurri.

Inter Milan’s latest signing, Manuel Akanji, is set to make his Serie A debut for the Nerazzurri against arch-rivals Juventus on Saturday. The Swiss defender joined Inter on a loan deal from Manchester City, with an option to make the move permanent for €15 million. 

According to Cristian Chivu, Akanji is expected to start against Juventus.

Akanji’s move to Inter comes after a successful stint with Manchester City, where he won several trophies, including two Premier League titles and one Champions League title. His experience and international value will undoubtedly be assets for Inter as they face off against Juventus. 

Chivu praised Akanji, saying, “Akanji is an important player with international value and stature. All the players are essential to contribute to the pursuit of our goals.”

The match between Inter and Juventus promises to be an intense encounter, with both teams looking to make a statement in the Serie A title race. Juventus has had a perfect start to the season, winning both of their opening games without conceding a single goal. 

Inter, on the other hand, has one victory and one defeat, looking to bounce back from their loss to Udinese.
