PSG have suffered a setback with injuries as key players Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué will be out for a couple of months.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has received some grim news regarding the injuries to two of its key players, Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué, who were both forced to leave France’s World Cup qualifier against Ukraine due to injuries.

Dembélé, the 28-year-old forward, suffered a right hamstring injury and is expected to be out for six to eight weeks. Doué, on the other hand, picked up a calf strain and will likely miss three to four weeks of action.

The injury to Dembélé is particularly concerning for PSG, as he will miss several important matches, including those against Marseille, Barcelona, and Lille. His participation in the next France national team squad and the matches against Azerbaijan and Iceland in October is also uncertain.

Dembélé’s absence will not only be felt on the pitch but also in terms of creativity, which PSG will sorely miss.

Doué’s injury is another blow to PSG, as the team will have to find ways to compensate for his absence. With both players sidelined, PSG’s attacking options will be limited, and the team will need to rely on other players to step up.

The injuries to Dembélé and Doué come at a crucial time for PSG, as they look to defend their Ligue 1 title and make a deep run in the Champions League.
